Have you ever considered how powerful you really are? I do not mean power that can hurt other people. I do not refer to the power that destroys nations. I mean the power that each and every individual on this earth possesses a God-given gift to be used for the good of others and the world.
Our Right & Our Duty to Share
We each have not only a right but a duty to share our talents with others and the world. It is simply called our contribution to making this journey smoother and easier for all.
How do we do that? Well, we can start by taking a good look at ourselves. We ask ourselves, “What special talents do I have that I might give away and help other people to have and enjoy a better or happier life?”
Then you make a list of all your talents. For most people, it is usually more than only one talent. For many, it could be as many as three to five talents that one possesses but, they do not realize their inner power.
The Power of Choice
I’m talking about the power to choose one gift you have and focus on developing it to its fullest potential. Once it is acknowledged and developed, you are ready to impart its value to your community or to anyone that could benefit from it.
There are many talents that exist, but too few people are acting upon them. They prefer to go to work and return home each day at a set hour. And that is all right, if that’s what they really want. However, maybe they are not completely happy with this choice and need something more to make them shine and feel accomplished.
Taking stock of your talents comes from inspiration and finding that motivation that pushes you to develop it and share it. The returns are great, I promise you!
How Many and What Talents Do I Have?
What do I mean by talents and probably have more than just one? I mean, for example, a person may be a good writer, a talented painter, an excellent speaker, singer, dancer, a brilliant mathematician, someone who likes science or inventing. All are needed professions that can bring security in living while making a considerable contribution to society.
Directing Your Talent
One of the problems in discovering your talent may be that you are lacking direction, motivation, and even knowledge of how to develop your talent. However, the talent still exists. It is just lying there with no focus or creativity. It needs to be directed toward a goal—a small goal at first, then a bigger one, and then another one and another one, etc.
Finally, you are ready to share and impart your talent in making others happy, informed, and inspired. And most likely, you have successfully inspired and motivated another human being to contribute to others as part of your return on your investment of yourself.
The Revolving Cycle
Do you see how this works? It becomes a revolving cycle, which continues in a positive way to affect the entire world. In other words, you may think that the little bit you alone contribute is not worth much. But in reality, it is the little bit that continues and perpetuates the continuity of input which, affects one person and another until, it circulates throughout the sphere, eventually.
Witness how powerful you are.
So, go ahead…I dare you to begin your little bit that becomes immense at the end of the journey. Or is there really an end to it all?
